As I mentioned in the previous blog, Janice put a lot of thought into the details of her October wedding. Starting with the chapel. I can not say enough how much I love Cloverdale Chapel and Meetinghouse. I have done 4 weddings there so far and will be doing at least one more this summer. In early October the leaves have just barely began to fall so everything is still green and beautiful. With Janice’s special touches, it made the perfect back drop for their October Wedding.
These beautiful flowers are from Patton’s Country Gardens in Saginaw. Bonnie Helsel arranged the bouquets, boutonnieres, and flower center pieces for the church that also ended up decorating the reception space at the Village Green. For a sentimental touch Janice had Bonnie add pictures of her mom and Maddie to the bouquet so they could still be part of the special day.
To add a fun twist to the day, everyone wore some awesome Converse kicks 🙂
And I have to add I love Janice’s style! Her choice of lace dress was beautiful and her up do with baby’s breath was simple and gorgeous!
The reception was held at The Village Green Resort and Gardens Although it was my first time there, I hope to go back! The intimate reception room included a balcony where Janice and Garry’s friends and family could sit and relax as the sun went down. Appetizers were soon served inside by the amazing Village Green staff followed by cake and dessert.
