You are due to arrive this month and everyone is so excited to meet you! You have a lot of friends and family to meet, but I wanted to give you a little introduction to your immediate family.
Nice looking people right? You have your big brother, big sister, dad and mom. They are all very smart, funny, and great people to hang out with. There will no doubt be a lot of cuddles and tickles. Silly faces and fun adventures. You will go for walks, hikes, and eventually ride the ATVs!
See the handsome one in the yellow shirt? That’s your big brother. He was so excited to hear you were arriving, mommy and daddy took a video of him jumping up and down when he found out you were going to be a boy. He will help you with the big stuff like building with legos, playing sports, and how to play video games. No doubt he will always look out for you and be there if you ever need anything.
Next let me introduce you to your sister. She’s the little one in these pictures now, but no matter how much you both grow she will always be your big sister. Not only is she really cute, she is also extremely clever. She loves to draw (lately she has been drawing the American Flag) and read. She’s going to be a big help raising you.
The funny looking guy is your Dad. He is one of the funniest, sweetest, most honorable guys I know. He spent some time in a submarine serving our country. He works hard, plays harder. You will truly love this guy!
You may have noticed the one constant in all these pictures, your beautiful mom! Her quiet beauty and sweetness are beyond words. Her quick whit will make you smile and laugh at the least expected times. You’re giving her a little hard time right now with all of this heart burn and nausea…be nice to her. She has a big heart and is very giving. Leo, this lady is really special. Even though she will always watch over you, sometimes she is going to need you too. To be an extra pair of hands to lift things, an extra pair of arms to wrap around her and comfort her, and someone who needs reminding that she is doing great as a mom. I hope you tell her how special she is and that you love her often.
